Peter Vipond joins the authority in early 2012
The FSA has appointed Peter Vipond. Vipond will take up the position of head of department, Insurance Sector and Prudential Support Department within the Insurance Division in early 2012.
This is a new department within the Insurance Division bringing together specialists to support the FSA’s supervision of insurance companies.
Until this summer, Vipond was at the ABI where he was the director of Financial Regulation and Taxation.
He also held a director position at the British Bankers’ Association.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
