Many insurers will be critical of the FSA's decision not to require a disclosure to customers of commissions earned by insurance brokers, Reynolds Porter Chamberlain (RPC) said today.
RPC partner Kenneth Underhill said the industry had wanted to resolve issues relating to brokers remuneration and transparency
Underhill said: “Insurers are very keen to see that the UK takes the opportunity to create a competitive advantage by becoming a more transparent market. Insurers have made their views very clear to the FSA and they will be disappointed that the FSA has failed to listen.”
