Rigby says physical presence in city reflects commitment to market
GAB Robins will open a Leeds office in February. The office will initially operate with a team of 14 staff, comprising personal and commercial property adjusters, and will cover major loss, casualty, subsidence and surveying.
The move follows the appointment of a number of former Teceris staff, including Steve Convery, who will lead the major loss team.
GAB chief executive Kieran Rigby said: “A huge proportion of the claims we handle are intermediated and, while we never left Leeds, we felt we needed a physical office presence to help underline our commitment to this vibrant broker and insurer market.”
GAB’s last Leeds office closed in 2005 when the property’s lease expired, coinciding with the company moving to a remote working model.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
