Hastings Insurance Services has appointed David Pye to its board in the role of non-executive director.
Pye has over 35 years' experience in the insurance industry.
Initially his career was as an underwriter with Provincial, Minster and Aegon. He ran the general insurance business of Pearl Assurance before joining London and Edinburgh as managing director of commercial lines.
Pye has been a main board director of a number of companies since 1986, and since 1999 has been the underwriter of his own Lloyd's syndicate as well as a director of various companies in the Creechurch Group.
