Deciding headlines in Insurance Times can be a tricky business.
But this week Backchat would like to commend Wellington director David Gittings for quickly summing up the highlights of a speech on the compensation culture given by Lord Hunt of Wirral in the Lloyd's library.
Giving the official vote of thanks, Gittings said that if he were writing a headline for the report of Lord Hunt's speech it would read: "Take reasonable precautions when engaged in desirable activity, warns Lord Hunt."
Good effort, but best leave it to the experts David.
