Groupama head of customer solutions Andy Heap is leaving the company just three months after taking up his new post.

Heap, formerly premier partners channel manager at AXA, announced he was joining Groupama in February 2004.

He took up the position, based in Manchester, in May.

A spokesman for Groupama confirmed his departure, and said that Heap would be
leaving the company on 27 August due to personal reasons.

Heap declined to comment on his departure, but sources said he had already accepted a new role.

“He won't be working at an insurer or a broker, but will still be in the industry,” one source said.

Groupama said Heap's workload would be allocated to other members of the sales and distribution and marketing teams while decisions were taken about a replacement.
