Lloyds TSB (LTSB) Insurance and Heath Lambert are entering the competitive corporate partnership market, offering motor and household products through a joint partnership.

Heath Lambert's personal lines division, HLIS, will offer white-label branding, claims and administration services for LTSB.

Both companies hope to roll-out creditor, pet, and travel products as the client base increases.

LTSB Insurance director product and partnerships Neil Galjaard said: "Corpor-ate partnerships is a key growth area for us and part of Phil Loney's [Lloyd's TSB Insurance chief executive] strategic plans.

"With the AA and Goldfish our key clients, we want to grow this business further in the motor and home market to begin with. Each product will come with each new client."

The ‘brand extenders' market is highly competitive with NU, RBS through its UKI operation, Royal & SunAlliance, AXA, HBOS and Zurich all investing heavily in the sector.

Galjaard said that insurers were not the core target but "building societies and banks" which had "existing partners but which are now looking to renew their contracts because the terms have changed".

Heath Lambert's Wakefield office will handle the communication systems and claims administration work, while its Horsham office will deal with household claims.
