Helios Consultants has unveiled The Business Fire Performance Evaluation Scheme.
The scheme provides businesses and their insurers with a detailed fire risk assessment that quantifies the risks unique to the particular facility surveyed.
Fire hazards are identified and the exposure to risks is quantified to determine the probable outcome of a fire event.
As well as documenting risks, the scheme then recommends measures to reduce these risks to a minimum.
Helios says the scheme assists the business involved, as well as their brokers or intermediaries. This is because underwriters are provided with detailed fire risk assessments.
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
