Assistance provider Helphire Group has revealed its latest preliminary results, posting a pre-tax profit of £5.3m.
Announcing its results for the 12 months to 31 March, Helphire revealed its turnover increased by 69% to £55.8m.
Credit hire volumes increased by 60% from 2001-2002, helping the company to sanction earnings of 6.3 pence per share.
A Helphire statement claimed that the company's growth has been fuelled from existing sources and acquisitions.
Chairman Michael Symons said: "We are delighted with the group's return to significant growth and the generation of record earnings.
"Our expectations are that volumes will continue to grow through new commercial arrangements."
Helphire said it planned several new projects to fuel future growth, including a £13m call centre to house 1,000 staff, which will become the company's headquarters.
