Helphire has published its preliminary results for the year ending 31 March 2005.

Profit before tax increased by 100% from 2004 to £14.8m, while gross profits rose 54% from £35m to £54m.

Operating profit rose to £14.4m from £8.3m in 2004.

Helphire chief executive Mark Jacobs said the company was “growing very fast”.

“I don't expect the rate of growth to slow in the coming year and we will be looking to recruit more staff,” he said.
