Heritage has appointed Miriam Greenwood OBE DL as a non-executive director of the company.
Greenwood has over 25 years experience in investment banking having worked for Warburgs, Hill Samuel and Morgan Grenfell/Deutsche Bank. Greenwood was managing director of Morgan Grenfell Scotland from 1992 – 1999 and latterly was also head of UK financial institutions of the global banking division at Deutsche Bank.
In 1999 she co-founded and was COO of British Linen Advisers which she left in 2003 to join Quayle Munro PLC as a director. She joined Bell Lawrie (a division of Brewin Dolphin Securities) in September this year to establish a debt advisory business.
Greenwood is a member of the Gas and Electricity Markets Authority (GEMA) and a non-executive director of Gartmore Global Trust plc. She is a deputy lieutenant of the City of Edinburgh and in 2000 was awarded an OBE for services to corporate finance.
