Highway is to restructure its underwriting operations, following the introduction of its EDI-based Highway Choice private motor product.
Planned changes include: the formation of a single underwriting operations unit; the creation of three broker management units, and the transfer of business currently managed in the Edinburgh and Chatham offices to Brentwood.
Consultations have begun with the 20 underwriting staff based in Edinburgh and Chatham. The 50 claims staff at Chatham will continue to operate there.
