Capital rise for CNA

Capital rise for CNA
CNA INSURANCE Company's (Europe) capital has been increased by £39m to £79m.

The non-marine insurance organisation believes the move proves its commitment to Europe and is in line with its overall aim to become a global insurer.

Managing director Hugh Morland said: “ This capital infusion is an important step in our proposed merger with Maritime Insurance Company, the sister marine operation, and will support our planned growth in the years ahead.”

WILLIS has made several key appointments to its senior management team.
