Software house Insurecom has signed a deal to distribute Purely Motor’s private car and commercial vehicle products.

In response to a number of insurers exiting the broker motor market in recent months, Purely Motor has focused on providing brokers the opportunity to generate income from a mainstream class.

This new motor facility is offered exclusively to brokers through Blink Intermediary Solutions, the broker marketing and distribution specialist.

Purely Motor underwriter Richard Harrison said: “We are really pleased to be working with Insurecom on our new motor products. They were able to develop these schemes in under a month, providing us with great speed to market. We are looking forward to a successful launch and being able to offer extensive occupational discounts on private car”.

Insurecom chief commercial officer Chris Moseley said: “We are looking forward to a successful partnership with the team behind Purely Motor. We’re proud to be the first software house to make these products available to the broker market, and are delighted to have completed the development in such a short time period using our real-time rating and distribution platform.
