Classic car insurance specialist Lancaster is to offer a full-cycle EDI scheme through Misys in order to hit motor insurers' database (MID) deadlines.
The wholesale broker will release the NIG underwritten product to Misys' 800 Countrywide member firms this month.
Misys General Insurance commercial director Mark Ryder said the change was a reflection of a market trend that is seeing more insurers move non-standard business onto EDI in light of the requirement to update the MID within 14 days.
