Allianz Cornhill announced its 100th birthday on Monday, just four days late. We shouldn't complain about that.

It's running a prize draw for staff - top prize £2,500. Clearly we won't complain about that.

There are also celebrations at venues across the country, including Madame Tussauds. Who could possibly complain about that?

But, as yet, there is no cake for Backchat.

To paraphrase Andrew Torrance when waxing lyrical on Allianz Cornhill's ton: this seems an 'unusual and notable achievement'.
