Liberty Syndicates has appointed Brian FitzGerald as non-executive chairman to replace George Nissen who has retired.
Liberty Syndicates announced recently that its Syndicate 282 made 23% return on capacity for the 1999 year of account, making it the top ranking result in Lloyd's, while its other syndicate, 190, also outperformed the market by returning a profit.
Brian FitzGerald has over 30 years' experience in banking. In 1995 Brian joined the Lloyd's market as Chief Executive of Janson Green. During his time at Janson Green he negotiated the Company's sale to Limit.
