Backchat had no idea how interested the rest of the world would be in the sexual antics of insurance folk.
But last week saw the tabloids and broadsheets become aroused by Backchat's revelation that some Lloyd's folk were exchanging more than the odd slip in the high-tech building's glass elevators.
As well as featuring on page three of The Sun, Backchat's story also made the front page of a South African newspaper and was even considered worthy of a spot in The Guardian.
But sexual activity at Lloyd's is not only linked to its glass elevators, Backchat has discovered. Last year, the 314-year-old insurance market launched a new portal www.lloydsoflondon.com . But web users who accidentally forget to type in the word "of" will be surprised.
The site www.lloydslondon.com promises to "provide women" with "absolute discretion assured". Coincidentally, January's lady is also called Diana Bebe. Backchat has been assured that this is no relation to Lloyd's spokesman Adrian Beeby, despite the homophonous similarity.
Lloyd's, however, is not amused. "We are consulting our solicitors regarding taking legal action against the site owners," said Beeby.
