Two more former Marsh brokers and a former Zurich North America underwriter have pleaded guilty to criminal charges in New York attorney general Eliot Spitzer's investigation of bid rigging at Marsh.
The three defendants admitted to participating in a Marsh scheme to rig excess casualty renewal bids in favour of incumbent insurers by generating inflated quotes from competing insurers.
The three pleas follow the guilty plea on Tuesday of a former Marsh senior vice president, Todd Murphy, to a misdemeanour fraud charge related to the bid rigging.
Spitzer's investigation has so far produced 14 guilty pleas, including six from former Marsh officials.
