‘Wales is an important part of our growth strategy,’ says managing director
Brunel Insurance Brokers has opened a new office in Cardiff – marking the firm’s first permanent presence in Wales.
The business said the new office would enhance its ability to deliver “high-quality, personalised” broking services to businesses and individuals across Wales.
The broker also confirmed that the Cardiff team will provide a full range of commercial and personal lines services.
Matt Harlin, managing director at Brunel Insurance Brokers, said: “We’re proud to be opening our Cardiff office and establishing a local presence in such a vibrant and diverse region.”
Regional expansion
The Cardiff site is Brunel’s ninth UK office and is a further step in its ongoing national expansion strategy.

It already operates from several sites across England, including London, Bristol, Coventry, Weston-super-Mare and Stowmarket.
The firm joins Aviva in opening a new Wales base, with the insurer announcing a new regional underwriting branch in Cardiff in May 2025.
Harlin said: “Wales is an important part of our growth strategy and having a dedicated team on the ground allows us to better support our clients, understand local market needs and build long-lasting relationships within the community.”
