Insurer Markel has announced a new partnership with artificial intelligence (AI)-powered processing platform Mea.

The deal will see Markel use Mea’s platform to strengthen underwriting processes across its international wholesale operations.

“Technology transformation is at the forefront of our strategic ambitions at Markel,” Carys Lawton-Bryce, international chief operations officer at Markel, said.
