’He brings a wealth of experience and has a proven track record,’ says chief executive

Fidelis Insurance has appointed Jason Kittinger as its new group chief operating officer.

Based in London, Kittinger will be responsible for driving improvement in operational performance and efficiency.

As part of the move, he will also become a member of the specialty insurer’s senior leadership team.

The appointee brings over 20 years of industry experience and joins from Arch Insurance International, where he served as chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

In his new role, he will report to Fidelis group chief executive Dan Burrows.

Burrows said: “Kittinger brings a wealth of experience and has a proven track record in financial leadership and operational excellence.

“I am excited for Kittinger to apply his knowledge and expertise to Fidelis, which will further strengthen our operating processes.”

Succession

Kittinger takes over from Denise Brown-Brach, who has held the roles of group chief operating officer and UK chief executive over the last year.

Now that Kittinger is joining, Brown-Brach will focus on her duties as top boss.

Burrows said: “I would also like to express our deepest gratitude to Brown-Brach, who has diligently served as both the UK chief executive and the group chief operating officer since 2023.

“With Jason joining, she will focus on her vital role as UK chief executive.”
