’We’re committed to setting a new standard for automation, efficiency and innovation in UK pet claims,’ says appointee
Swedish insurtech Wisentic has appointed Garry Nelson as its new managing director for the UK.
In his new role, Nelson will lead Wisentic’s UK operations and build strategic partnerships to drive market adoption of its pet claims automation capabilities.
The move comes as Wisentic looks to expand in the UK, with the insurtech saying that the appointment will help it establish a strong local presence.
The firm also expects its UK team to grow in the coming months.
“I’m thrilled to bring Wisentic’s proven claims automation to the UK,” said Nelson.
“Sweden’s pet insurance market is the most advanced in the world and Wisentic has played a central role in shaping it.
“We’re committed to setting a new standard for automation, efficiency and innovation in UK pet claims.”
August von Sydow, chief commercial officer at Wisentic, added: “Our mission is to simplify pet claims in the UK – just as we’ve done in the Nordics for the past 10 years.
“Nelson’s strategic industry insight in the UK market makes him the ideal leader for this next phase.”
