The broker will provide services for the association’s 800 members
Birmingham-based trade body the Hire Association Europe and the Event Hire Association (HAE EHA) has chosen Towergate Insurance Brokers as its insurance partner following a competitive tender process.
Broking business Towergate will be responsible for the trade association’s insurance services from 1 October 2021 – this will include delivering insurance programmes for HAE EHA’s 800 members across the hire, rental and events sector.
Speaking on the partnership, Joe Thelwell, chief executive of Towergate, said: “It’s great to have been selected to be the insurance broker of choice for HAE EHA and we look forward to working closely with their membership.
“Within the team, we have extensive experience in the hire and rental and events sector marketplace.
“Our aim is to deliver a wide range of products to support HAE EHA members’ delivery for their customers, tailored to the individual requirements of each member.

HAE EHA represents businesses - including sole traders, large independent firms and privately owned organisations – in the plant, tool and equipment hire sector. It has members in the UK, Europe and across other parts of the world.
