XL BROCKBANK has closed its sports, leisure and entertainment account after two years, with immediate effect.

Class underwriter Mark Filipek has also left the Lloyd's managing agency. His deputy, Lee Davis, will remain to run off the account, reporting to Charles Rowley, delegated authority manager.

XL Brockbank is a leading underwriting agencies at Lloyd's and manages three composite syndicates – 861, 1209 and 588. Their estimated combined premium income for 2001 is £418m, with a total managed capacity of £457m.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
