Europ Assist has incorporated standard pet travel cover into its Eurodriver Assist policy, which provides motor breakdown and travel insurance for drivers on the Continent.
The policy can also be upgraded to offer an enhanced level of cover for pets including money for emergency veterinary fees, unplanned kennel fees and quarantine fees if the animal has problems with its documentation and is held on its way back into the UK.
