Piers Morgan is the latest addition to the line-up of speakers at this year's CII and Cila UK Insurance and Financial Services Conference.

The former Daily Mirror editor will address delegates at the conference gala dinner being held at the Guildhall on 22 September.

He will join industry figures including Aviva's Richard Harvey, AXA's Peter Hubbard, John Tiner and Clive Briault from the FSA and Julian James from Lloyd's, who will be part of the business programme running from 21 to 23 September at the QEII conference centre in Westminster.

CII marketing director Steve Wellard said: "This conference has a unique ability to bring the very best of the industry together under one roof."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
