Law commission starts consultation today

While it is not currently possible to take out insurance against divorce, but this will change as pre-nups become accepted, the paper quoted Simon Edwards, the principal of law firm ProLegal, as saying.
“People should be aware of the likelihood of an emerging before-the-event insurance market tied to pre-nuptial agreements,” Burton said. “The point at which a couple enter into a pre-nuptial agreement is an obvious point for insurance against the cost of a potential divorce to be taken out.
The Law Commission began a public consultation today on full recognition for pre-nup agreements in British law.
