The insurance industry's very own Scarlet Pimpernel, Michael Bright, is keeping a low profile. Insurance Times, however, would love to know where he is and so would many of our readers – and a few thousand policyholders and shareholders, too.
Like Nessie and the Yeti, sightings have been documented. Recently, someone allegedly spotted him in Spain, another thought he saw him on a yacht in the South of France (it turned out to be another corpulent, corporate crony in ill-fitting trunks) and, two weeks ago, a picture appeared on a website claiming to be of the big man poolside in Kent.
Backchat is offering a magnum of champagne (seriously!) to anyone who can find him and get hard evidence, namely a photograph, of where he is holed up. Happy hunting!
