Software provider Sequel has updated its Eclipse Broking package.

The new version of Eclipse will enable brokers to manage the entire broking process, from enquiry to claims settlement.

Sequel director Michael Graham said: "Our customers asked for enhancements in the new version. It was developed to help them thrive in this increasingly demanding market place and face up to the business challenges ahead.

This is not just a software tweak, it brings demonstrable efficiencies to brokers' businesses. It is a wide ranging business upgrade. We listen very carefully to our customers - and they are adamant that they want modern, powerful software that's easy to use and helps them keep abreast and ahead of the market. And that's exactly what we're giving them. Customers want performance - and the ability to cope with compliance as well as new developments in the market such as peer-to-peer messaging".

Graham added: "The new software allows them, for example, to take FSA requirements relating to contract certainty, treating customers fairly and client monies with greater ease than they ever could have done. It also means that they can take important but diverse requirements such as accounting and settlement and electronic claim files, in their stride.
