This week saw the reinsurance fraternity descend on Monte Carlo for the annual networking and cocktail-fest that is the Rendez-vous.
And it can be a challenging time for delegates, not least when it comes to sartorial decisions.
Satirical newsletter Riskbitz tells the story of reinsurance broker Steve Grabber who has been planning his essential Rendez-vous kit since mid-May.
"As I have such a large selection of pastel coloured YSL polo shirts and beige designer chinos it can take me weeks to narrow down the selection," says Grabber.
"I don't want to appear as if I'm making so much money that I buy the most expensive stuff - but on the other hand I want to look better than the competition."
