NIB profits upLondon broker NIB/Lees Preston reported profits up by 7%. NIB turnover increased by 20% in 2002. The company's pre-tax profit for the year was £993,000 compared to £930,000 the year before. Turnover for the period was £3.1m compared to £2.6m the year before.
New Cowen officeMansfield-based broker RA Cowen & Partners will open its new offices in Peterborough this week. The office will open with ten staff.
IRM surplusThe Institute of Risk Management reported a growing financial surplus for the year ended 30 June 2003. It achieved £53,000, against £28,000 the year before, an increase of 89%.
