24 7 Broking shuns Biba conference
24 7 Broking will not have a stand at the British Insurance Brokers' Association (Biba) conference because it is focused on development, Rarrigini & Rosso managing director Andy Hawkes has said.
The application service provider made a splash at last year's conference in Belfast, with a large stand and a number of staff.
However, Hawkes said this year the company was concentrating on getting the details of the system perfect.
"We launched last year and this year we're focused on execution," he said.
Hawkes and Rarrigini & Rosso Group chief executive Julie Rodilosso will attend the conference.
Endsleigh deal
There was no 5 April deadline for the Endsleigh Insurance management buy out, a spokesman has said.
He said the buy out was progressing quite slowly but according to plan.
He said Marcel van der Meulen, a director of Endsleigh's Dutch owner De Goudse, had never set any date for completion of the buyout, despite reports he had set a 5 April deadline.
"There is absolutely nothing amiss," he said.
"We're very comfortable everything is going ahead."
New Tudor scheme
Corinthian Insurance and Close Premium Finance have launched a new finance scheme for Tudor motor fleet policies.
Brokers who sign up for the scheme will receive competitive rates and the opportunity to earn overriders of up to 2%.
They will also get access to a 10-month instalment plan, mid-term adjustments and comprehensive customer service.
Corinthian spokesman Kevin Walsh said: "We are confident that Close Premium Finance's technical knowledge, support services and commitment to customer service will make the scheme a great success."
