Specialist online risk insurer Safeonline has secured strategic investment from Verisign, the internet trust service provider.

The two companies have had a strategic relationship for the past two years and this move further strengthens the relationship. The funding will be used to fund Safeonline's expansion and accelerate its product release and distribution.
