We are reminded of Paste's claimed readership figure on the front of its magazine, based on a survey carried out long, long ago in 1998.
Backchat is recruiting a jury of highly-trained chimpanzees to puzzle out why Paste should be wanting to use such an old figure.
The jury's deliberations will be published next week. (For reasons of animal welfare, the jury will not be required to read Paste.)
