Universal Salvage, the vehicle salvage and auction services group, has secured a major contract with Co-Operative Insurance Society Limited (CIS) to provide salvage management and disposal services throughout the UK.
The contract, for a two year period, has been signed on an exclusive basis, with Userve as sole supplier. It is expected to yield approximately 24,000 units per annum. CIS will also adopt Universal's on-line salvage management system, which enables insurance claims and vehicles to be processed more efficiently.
The agreement takes effect on 5 September 2005.
