We were puzzled to read in your article entitled "NU starts trial to fast-track claims" (News, 30 September) that David Hooker believes that the employers' liability claims pilot with Park Cakes Bakeries has failed.
We are continuing to work closely with both the DWP, Park Cake Bakeries, the unions and other stakeholders on this initiative.
We believe the model under discussion has scope to accelerate and improve the efficiency of the claims process for lower value employers' liability claims to the benefit of all stakeholders.
