Esure hires personal injury claims specialist
Esure has appointed John Miles as its new UK personal injury claims manager.
Miles previously worked at Tesco and RBS Insurance, where he was regional manager for PI and credit hire and before that claimant services manager.
He will have a wide remit reporting to Esure's head of claims Sue Inglis.
An Esure spokesman described the move as a "major appointment" for the online insurer.
Last month, Insurance Times reported how a rise in bodily injury claims pushed Esure Insurance Ltd into a loss of 14.2m for 2009.
