Sevenoaks start-up takes over sixth book in three months

Steve Gamage and Paul Cosh’s Sevenoaks-based Invicta Insurance Services has bought four more books of business, taking the total in the first three months to six.

The firm says more are in the pipeline. The four just bought include:

  • Cranbrook-based London & Southern Securities, which comprises mainly high net worth and property owners’ policies.
  • Welling-based Rees & Paddock Wood Insurance Services, which is predominantly property owners’ and small commercial policies.
  • Northfleet-based Investment & Insurance Services, the bulk of which is household and property owners’ policies.
  • The personal lines portfolio of Burgess Hill-based Burgess Insurance Services

Invicta will run the businesses from its head office in Sevenoaks.

Still buying

Paul Cosh, chairman of Invicta, said: “Invicta is the joining together of like minded broking businesses to form a regional broker with the buying power to provide great value cover for customers.
