Iris is a reporter at Insurance Times, where she is building her expertise in the insurance sector while developing a strong understanding of the industry.
With a background in local journalism, she has previously worked as a freelance reporter covering community stories and gaining valuable on the ground experience.
Before pursuing journalism, Iris studied philosophy both at an undergraduate and master’s level. She later completed a fast-track course in journalism with PA Media Academy, where she gained her NCTJ diploma. This equipped her with the practical skills needed to thrive in a newsroom.
Outside of work, Iris enjoys singing at open mic nights as well as watching live music. She is also a fan of a good oat cappuccino and can be found with a book in hand or at home with her beloved cat, Ivy.
