’For the second year running, we’ve seen record levels of growth across the Coversure network,’ says network director
Broker franchise network Coversure has reported a second consecutive year of record growth as it approaches its 40th anniversary later this year.

The network, which forms part of the Jensten Group, said it had opened 12 new offices in the last eight months, with around 65% of enquiries now coming from start up brokers.
According to Jordan Maskell, network director at Jensten Network, increased market consolidation, regulatory complexity and technological change are driving more brokers to reassess how they operate.
He said: “For the second year running, we’ve seen record levels of growth across the Coversure network.
“All despite increased direct-to-consumer offerings, advances in AI and more commentary aimed at consumers, showing that the role of the broker has arguably never been more important – particularly in local communities and specialist niches where advice really matters.”
Maskell added that consolidation across the broker market was prompting more experienced professionals to consider launching their own firms.
“It’s widely reported how much consolidation has taken place across the broker sector in recent years and, as a result, we’re seeing far more experienced account directors and executives considering setting up on their own,” he said.
Increase in female broker enquiries
The firm also reported an increase in female entrepreneurs entering the sector, following campaigns aimed at raising the profile of women in insurance.

Maskell said: “We already have dozens of successful female brokers within our network, but it’s encouraging to see enquiries from new female insurance entrepreneurs continuing to rise, with several already in the process of launching their own brokerages with us.”
Alongside Coversure, Jensten Broker Network said it had maintained strong engagement from existing independent brokers seeking additional operational support while retaining autonomy.
To mark its recent growth, Jensten Network is hosting an event for brokers in Manchester this week during the Biba Conference, bringing together representatives from across its broking, underwriting and London market operations.
Coversure will officially celebrate its 40th anniversary on 15 October 2026.
