Industry veteran launches new construction-focused broker

Industry veteran John Elliott has joined Coversure to launch a new construction-focused broker.

Called Elliott and Associates Risk Management, the new firm will be based out of East Grinstead, West Sussex, and is the seventh new Coversure office to be launched this year.

Elliott brings over two decades of commercial insurance experience to the new venture, particularly in construction and contractor insurance.

Most recently, he served at Clear Group as its business development director.

Experience

Having started his career 25 years ago as an account handler with Marsh, Elliott has since held a number of senior insurance market roles.

This includes client director at Konsileo, commercial new business manager at Amicus and head of commercial at Plan Insurance Brokers.

Elliott said: ”I am really excited to be launching my own venture in a market I know well with the security and backing of the Coversure network.”
