Mapfre chief executive now Insure and Go director
Spanish insurer Mapfre has acquired travel insurer Insure and Go for an undisclosed fee, Insurance Times has learnt.
Mapfre president and chief executive Rafael Senen has been appointed to the board of Insure & Go.
Southend-based Insure and Go recently signed a six-year deal with Mapfre to supply its travel products in the UK and Ireland.
The acquisition was confirmed by a spokesman for Insure and Go.
