Biography: Boukaert was general manager in charge of European Operations at the Crédit Lyonnais in Paris since 1994. He joined the Group in June 1999 as associate director of Axa Royale Belge.

He started his career in 1968 as broker at the London firm of J.M Finn & Co. After completing his military duty, he entered the audit firm of Arthur Andersen & Co in Brussels as junior consultant in 1971. Since 1972 he has successively filled the following positions :

  • Director of Chase Commercial Bank in Antwerp
    (1972-1984)
  • Managing director of The Chase Manhattan
    Bank in Copenhagen (1984-1986)
  • Managing director and regional director of
    Chase Belgium (1986-1989). In 1989 Chase
    Belgium was merged into the Crédit Lyonnais
  • Managing director and regional director of the
    Crédit Lyonnais Belge (1989-1994)

  • The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
