Average hurricane cover up nearly 10% in positive outlook

Amlin chief executive Charles Philipps the price of cover against storms in the US is now up by an average of 9.6%.

"With the loss of capital and poor investment returns, there is a real focus on making sure the right price for the product is charged," he said in an interview with the Telegraph. "We are one of the few sectors that has a reasonably positive outlook,"
