Argo takes cargo underwriter from RSA

Argo International has hired Jon Hamilton as an underwriter in its marine cargo division.

He reports to Argo’s cargo class underwriter Paul Gooderson.

Hamilton joins from RSA, where he was a senior underwriter for marine cargo and specie.

Argo International’s head of marine and energy Philip Thorpe-Apps said: “We are committed to developing our cargo account by attracting underwriters who have the technical and underwriting expertise to complement our existing team and who share the service-driven ethos that is the foundation of our offering.
