Weather Direct is offering show organisers the opportunity to insure their gate receipts against the threat of bad weather.
The policy also covers for losses from the effects of rainfall, such as waterlogging and any remedial action necessary to keep a venue open.
The outdoor event insurer has access to rainfall records stretching back 30 years.
