Bluefin marketing head Peter Elliott has left after three-and-a-half years at the broker.

His responsibilities will be assumed by Bluefin’s schemes and affinities head Mike Owen.

Bluefin CEO Stuart Reid said: “Peter joined us to unify the various marketing teams that existed when we created Bluefin and align them with the business. I am grateful for all his good work and wish him every success in his future career.”

Elliott added: “I have enjoyed my three-and-a-half years with Bluefin and look forward to the next challenge.”

Elliott joined Bluefin in 2009 after stints at Norwich Union, Eagle Star and Travelers in various marketing roles. He is a chartered marketer and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Marketing.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
