Ambac announcement that it has more capital boosts shares
Bond insurer Ambac’s news that its statutory capital was above the regulatory minimum after last week threatening bankruptcy, saw its stock rise 44.3% to $1.01, the FT reports.
MBIA, the world's largest bond insurer, rose 11.2% to $3.86.
