Brightside on a binder for £80m premium to be written through the eCar platform

Brightside has struck a deal to bind Markerstudy for up to £80m of premium written through its eCar platform.

Chief executive Martyn Holman said: “The board sets itself a target of broadening its underwriting panel in order to ensure sufficient and diverse capacity is available across its entire product range.

“The additional capacity being supplied by Markerstudy is part of this process and we look forward to making further announcements in due course.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
